Earlier in the rsearch process, Elizabeth made a stencil model to investgate whether the shadow effect would work.

From this, we know that it will work with a strong light source and that the stencil pattern will have to be very small in order to get a crisp shadow effect.

Wall Light Model

Patrick and Elliot experimented with using thin steel wire to create a wall light model.  The wire was used to create the inside structure, and when finished the light would have an outer layer of paper, wood or plastic to reflect light against the sides of the wall.

They used methods such as spot welding to join seperate pieces of metal together.
